Dr. Orlester Johnson, Sr. Pastor

Prophetess Johnson is an anointed and dynamic minister and prophetess of God who knows how to encourage and motivate people. Her passion for God is contagious, and her compassion for people makes her an effective communicator.

Her role as pastor’s wife, businesswoman, mother and grandmother is fulfilled with a determination to pursue God’s purpose in all areas of her life. To the congregation, she is an outward demonstration of the Word of God, as she sets a standard for faith, excellence, godly submission, and character. 

 

First Lady ”J” as she is called is spiritually gifted to share God’s message of hope and love.  With a special call to minister to women on self-esteem and self-worth in Christ, her ministry defines women’s issues as “It’s U”, which helps women reconcile their past, to God’s divine plan for their future.

 

Through her demonstrative teaching style and conference speaking, Sister Johnson has reached people of different backgrounds and ethnicities, sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. 

 

At Greater Faith Tabernacle she is the president of Getting Families Together, Director of Women, and the Director of the Institute for Success Christian School for children ages three and four. She also has a dynamic Prison Mentoring Ministry for Women. Evangelist Johnson is the wife of Pastor Orlester Johnson and they have two sons, two daughters, four grandsons, and two granddaughters.
